A new client this Christmas (cue the seasonal Mariah Carey song) is the wonderful, and interesting “ED-SG”, who offer Education consulting to families looking to migrate (probably temporarily, like migratory birds) to Singapore. Of course, if you delve deeper they also offer other cities in the near, middle, and far east. Which makes me wonder, do people in the east thing of the west in terms of “Far west, middle west, westy west, and other variants”?!
Americans have their own relative west (“I’m going out west”, says John Wayne), Europe has the western Europe, but what do them asians think and say? I think it’s a valid question, and one I don’t need an answer for, but know in my mind it’s a cool cultural question.
Anyway, back to the task at hand: Education. Migration. Emigration. Semi-gration. Au gratin. More on this and everything else unrelated soon…
