Hummingbird Property, a new client with a tech and machine learning background, is set to shake things up in Cape Town. I worked with them for a few months, helping increase their visibility and brand awareness. It’s still early days but the future looks promising. Just like big names such as Pam Golding or Rawson Property started small, Hummingbird also has humble beginnings.
There are many players in this property market space including Easy.com, Remax, Property24 and Private Property among others. With disruption on the horizon, it’s important to stay informed about industry changes. Even though I’m not particularly interested in property ownership myself, though I wouldn’t mind owning some commercial or hot-desking space. Here’s hoping that Cape Town could become our own Silicon Valley – bustling with businesses under better weather conditions!
